¡ Spheroidizing furnaces
Spheroidized structure is one of the important factors governing the quality of cold heading quality wires, and spheroidizing is the most costly process in the production process.
To save the cost and get prominent quality, O&K has installed the patented large-scaled continuous annealing furnaces which are able to omit a pickling process such as precleaning. The continuous furnaces have been prepared for providing stable excellent quality of wire in large quantities, quick response for modification of manufacturing conditions and economical efficiency for time control.
The continuous furnaces have been installed at Osaka, Kishiwada, Nagoya, and Gumma plant respectively.
The bell type furnaces also have been installed at each plant to meet the requirements of small lot and short lead time production.

Significance of surface treatment(lubrication)
¦Surface treatment is essential to avoid direct contact between surface of wire and drawing die and generating "baking", "die mark" on the surface in drawing process.
¦Surface treatment is essential to avoid direct contact between surface of wire and forging die and generating "baking", "adhesion" on both wire and forging die in cold forging process.(especially, in forward extrusion process)
¦Phosphate coating also creates rustproof effect.
Variety of surface treatment(lubrication)
Note: Powdered lubricants drawing wires are omitted.
They may be specified at the time of order.
(ex) Al stearate MoS2
Phosphate coating normally means Phosphate plus metallic soap.
Phosphate itself is not usable as lubricant.
